About us

We read the price tags so you don’t have to.

SAVO started with a simple annoyance: the same graphics card, the same lipstick, the same hotel room — and a different price at every shop. Finding the cheapest one meant opening ten tabs. So we built something that opens them for you.

What SAVO does

SAVO follows more than 90 Bangladeshi shops, booking sites and bank offer pages. Twice a day we read their catalogues, put the same product side by side, and keep every price change — so you can see not only today’s cheapest shop, but whether today is a good day to buy at all.

When something isn’t cheap enough yet, our Telegram bot watches it for you and sends one message when the price drops, reaches your target, or the item is back in stock.

How we keep it honest

  • We only call a shop the cheapest after we have read the price on that shop’s own product page in the last 24 hours.
  • If two prices for the same product differ by 40% or more, we hold the comparison back until a person has checked it — that is usually a typo, or two different products.
  • Hotel prices are compared with VAT, service charge and fees included, because that is what you actually pay.
  • No shop pays to be shown first. The order is the price.

How we read shops

We read only what shops publish openly, at a slow pace, and we follow every shop’s robots.txt. Our reader introduces itself by name. If a shop asks us not to read it, we don’t. Logos and product names belong to their owners; we show them so you can recognise what you are buying.

Who we are

SAVO is made by a small, independent team in Bangladesh. We are not owned by any shop, bank or booking site.

We read every message: send /feedback to @Savobdbot on Telegram. If a shop is missing, tell us — the shops people ask for are the ones we add next.
